ABOUT JODIE
Jodie Bickle is one of Perth’s most innovative choreographers and dance educators.
Starting at a young age, learning from a variety of choreographers worldwide and dancing professionally in London and the Canary Islands, Jodie has now established a reputation for developing strong technical and versatile dancers. Jodie is regularly invited to teach and guest choreograph across Perth.
Jodie teaches the Music Theatre students at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and recently choreographed the musical ‘In the Heights’ for the 3rd Year graduates. Her choreography and creative styling has also been seen in commercials and print work advertising, as well as numerous corporate events around Perth.
With over 30 years experience in the industry Jodie is passionate about developing and creating opportunities for local dancers, which is what lead her to launch JB CREATIVE in 2019. JB CREATIVE provides professional choreographic work for events and production whilst also offering unique dance experiences for today’s young dancers through video opportunities and dance workshops. Jodie prides herself on JB Creative events promoting and encouraging a positive, healthy mindset for all dancers.
